How the league runs — trades, keepers, draft, dues, and punishments. Roster, scoring, and waiver numbers are on Scoring.
The commissioner pushes a trade through when both sides agree, unless a collusion investigation is open.
Bribes, trading anything other than players / picks / current FAAB, or organizing vetoes against an otherwise fair deal. Guilty trades are reversed, and if they already changed scores those games are revised. The commissioner lets owners run their teams unless collusion is clear.
A traded player cannot come back via trade within 6 weeks. Same collusion penalties apply.
No picks more than three drafts away. Only this season’s FAAB can be traded. Not liking a trade is not a veto — the commissioner can still investigate.
Budgets reset each January.
Two weeks before Labor Day weekend every year.
A drinking game at the draft. The league loser who plans the trip picks the game and lines it up with the commissioner.
Either side can ask the commissioner to pause the draft so a trade can finish.
Up to two keepers. Keeping none is allowed.
Must be on your end-of-season roster. Submit one week before the draft.
At most two consecutive years. A first-round pick can be kept for one year only.
Costs a pick one round earlier than last year’s draft round (a 6th costs a 5th this year).
If both keepers cost the same round, one moves up an extra round (two 9ths become a 9th and an 8th; you choose which). Two first-round keepers take the 1st and 2nd and both count as firsts next year, so the one-year cap applies.
Honor system on late-season adds. Eliminated teams freeze as of elimination; playoff teams should not dump keeper-worthy players. Keepers are set by hand — an illegal keeper (for example keeping a first-rounder a second year) is void, with no replacement.
No leaving starters empty on purpose. Doing it to improve draft position can cost you picks.
Sleeper’s default tiebreakers.
If you cannot make it, take the matching punishment before draft day — or tell the league in time to be replaced.
Last year’s league punishment must be done before the draft. Miss that and you are removed and replaced.
$200, collected by the commissioner at the end of the season. Raising dues is votable.
$2,800 pot.
